Preschool

Yesterday Chloe started preschool.  Her new Dora backpack has been ready for weeks. And Chloe, was pretty much born ready.  Last year, when Rebekah started Kindergarten, Chloe desperately wanted to go to school too.  This year, she has her chance.  Her preschool is located in one of the elementary classrooms, so Chloe is two rooms down from Rebekah.  Since she's still only two, she's one of the youngest, with some of the kids being almost five.  But Chloe's used to keeping up with Rebekah, so she'll be fine.

At the end of the day, when I picked Chloe up, I could see she was tired.  But very happy.  Until it was time to leave.  For some reason, she got it in her head that preschool was over, and she was never coming back.  The result?  A complete, and epic, meltdown. Eventually I had to carry her screaming from the school.  She finally settled down about 45 minutes later.  Poor girl.

Tomorrow we have a pancake breakfast at the school.  It's an annual tradition at the start of the school year. The girls also start swimming tomorrow.  This will be Chloe's first time for swimming lessons; Rebekah will start level three.
In the afternoon, depending on the weather, we're hoping to take them to the annual threshing bee at Sukanen ship.
