Last week, Rebekah began grade one. She has a new teacher, and is already learning math. She's pretty happy with being able to go to school all day. The most exciting thing, thus far, is that she has science class! And she's also happy that she has her own desk, and no longer has to sit with a table of boys anymore. Chloe begins preschool this Thursday.
I, too, have begun school again. This year I'm teaching Biology, English, Christian Ethics, and Communication Prodcution Techonology, which really is a fancy way to say computer stuff. I also start my next class for my master's degree next week. I'm also auditing an Old Testament class at Briercrest, which begins tonight. I'm really looking forward to learning, but not having to do the work!
The weekend before school started we went to Saskatoon for the weekend. It was the first time for the kids to stay in a hotel, and they were so excited, especially since it had a waterslide. We spent Saturday at the zoo. The girls were pretty impressed with the lions and monkeys. Saturday night we spent swimming and watersliding.
Sunday morning we spent walking around downtown Saskatoon and meandering through the park by the river. We took the girls to Kinsmen park, which has a water park, a carousel, and a miniature train that we were able to ride on. In the afternoon, we went to a berry farm just outside of Saskatoon.
