The first day of Spring

Today is the first day of Spring. Our snow is not completely gone yet; however, with the temperatures we've been having, it should all be melted by the end of this week!! Consequently, Rebekah and Chloe have been spending more and more time outside, much to their great joy.

Last weekend we went to Regina. Saturday morning we took all of the girls to It's a Blast, and they were able to play for several hours. Even Melissa enjoyed running and crawling around. In the afternoon the girls were able to visit with my parents, as Glynn and I went furniture shopping. We're looking for a new couch & love seat. There's one set that we really like, so far, but we haven't finished looking yet.

Yesterday Glynn took Rebekah & two of her friends to the farm to visit the cows & chickens. The girls were a bit chagrined that no other animals could be found. Apparently, cows are not that exciting. Afterwards, Rebekah had to go to her skating lesson. Next weekend is her year end ice show.

Glynn spent most of today installing carpet in Rebekah's room. Rebekah is thrilled with her "new room", and is now diligently cleaning her Barbie house, so that it too is all clean. It's funny how renovating one room somehow makes a disaster out of the rest. So I think we'll probably spend the rest of the weekend cleaning up the mess.
